How do I complete and send a contract to a prospective client?

Sending a contract is a critical final step toward beginning work for your client. We have a few different types of templates we offer depending on your work style: hourly, retainer, or "bring your own contract" if you have a standard contract you'd like to use.

Note: Sending a contract does not bill your client. You'll need to invoice them to get paid. The only exception to this rule is when you're using a retainer, which bills the client for the retainer upon the signing of the contract on their end. You will still need to invoice a retainer client until their retainer balance is depleted, at which time it may be refilled if you both wish to continue working together.
