Can I pay for advocacy with my medical coverage insurance? (ICA)

Most Medicare plans (Part B) now fully cover Solace services, and Medicare Advantage plans are beginning to roll out incrementally as providers join by state. Our website also has private-pay options for folks without qualifying insurance who would still like to work with an advocate.

When you have a moment, click here to learn more and see if your coverage qualifies via the Solace Health website. When you're ready, click "Find an Advocate" and follow the website prompts for the two paths you'd like to take.

  • For insurance-covered advocacy: Once the patient is confirmed eligible, the process begins with a virtual consultation with our in-house clinician to establish a Telehealth relationship. The clinician will listen to the patient's situation and match them with a Care Champion. Once matched, they can schedule a meeting with their new advocate and begin working together.
    • Note that the patient whose insurance details are being used for advocacy must be present for the clinician intake appointment, even if the patient cannot contribute to the conversation for whatever reason. A loved one is welcome to attend as well when needed/preferred.
  • For private-pay advocacy: After entering a few details about your situation, you may scroll through the list of compatible advocates, read more about the advocate on their profile page, and book an intro call with them. Most intro calls are complimentary, and hourly rates are also posted on their pages.
