Downloading documents from messages

To download a document shared between you and your advocate, log into your Solace account and click the Messages option via the left-hand navigation column. Then, click on the name of your advocate inside the Your Inbox section. Once the chat with your advocate is open, you have two ways to access the shared files:

 

1. You can scroll up in the conversation until the attachment is present on your screen, where it may be clicked on to view. This will expand the Shared Files area via a right-hand side panel where clicking on the file in question will give you the option to delete or download. Click Download to save the file to your device.

 

Or,

 

2. Above the conversation area and to the right is a Shared Files button featuring a paperclip icon. Clicking this icon will expand a Shared Files area via a right-hand side panel where clicking on the file in question will give you the option to delete or download. Click Download to save the file to your device.
