How to send documents

To send documents to your client, read on:

  • Log into your Solace dashboard.
  • Next, click "Messages" from the left-hand navigation column to show "Your Inbox."
  • Click your client's name from the "Your Inbox" list to open that specific chat window.
  • Once you've got the existing conversation with your client on-screen, click the "Attach File" paperclip in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, shown beneath the "Write message in here..." text field.

After you click the "Attach file" icon, a window will open where you can drag or upload the file in question:

After you've added the file in question, it will automatically begin to upload into the "Messages" conversation. The file(s) will also be visible by clicking the "Shared Files" button in the upper right-hand corner, pictured here, where all uploaded files will be listed:

Note that you can click on the shared file, which opens a tile that will contain a delete option if needed.
