Advocacy sponsorship: When someone else paying

 

You're about to sign on with an advocate, and a third party will be paying for your advocacy costs. Look no further to learn about advocacy sponsorship at Solace!

 

Once you've decided to move forward with your advocate, let them know that someone else will be paying for your advocacy. This is a feature they can engage while they are creating your contract.

 

Note: In the event that you already have an existing contract with your advocate and you would like to change your arrangement so that a third-party individual will begin covering these expenses, your advocate will need to end the existing contract and create a new one. Just let your advocate know what you need, and they'll do their best to make that happen!

 

Once your advocate has created their contract with you, they will select an option that invites your payor through email to add their payment details, so be sure to have their name and email details on hand for your advocate to include in the contract. The email they will receive is pictured here, where the payor can review a few FAQs and click the green "Sponsor" button to proceed:

When the "Sponsor" button is clicked, the payor is given the choice to create an account on Solace so that maintaining their payment details is quick and convenient. If they opt not to create an account, they can reach out to the customer service team for support as needed.

 

And payment details can be updated at any time! Whatever details are saved to the payor's account at the time the invoice or retainer contract is submitted will be the card that is charged.

 

After your payor has completed their payment steps, you will receive the following email notification:

At this time, your advocate is also sent an email to let them know the payment details have been completed. Once you've reviewed and accepted your contract with them, your advocate will begin working on your behalf!
