We bill Medicare directly, and most patients pay $0 out of pocket. For those without eligible insurance, we can provide some possible resources to explore.
Advocates are covered under Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. We’re not in the business of breaking your bank.
If you have one Medicare plan only, you’ll be responsible for:
- Deductible: The annual dollar amount you’ll need to meet before Medicare starts covering services. Once it’s met, it stays met for the year. (The 2025 Medicare deductible is $257.)
- Co-insurance: The out-of-pocket amount you’re responsible for per service billed – it’s often 10 to 20% of any given bill. (Approximately $20 per hour).
FYI, you won’t be billed endless hours – the median patient works with their advocate for about 10 hours, total. That number might be higher or lower depending on the complexity of your particular case.
If you have Medicare and a top-up plan or a Medicare Advantage plan, there’s a good chance you’ll pay nothing.
- We will never hound you for money, and we will never send a single bill to collections.
Here’s the bottom line: We’re here to help you. Truly. And if it ever comes to pass that you need help working out a payment plan, our dedicated customer care team will help create one that’s realistic for you.
Healthcare can be overwhelming. We’re here to reduce the burden, not add to it.
