Instead, support the patient through locating sustainable resources that address the root causes of these problems.
On receiving gifts: Occasionally, a patient will give a gift to their doctor, nurse, advocate, or other healthcare professional. There are no rigid guidelines here, but if it's anything beyond a small token of appreciation, the advocate should politely decline.
The gift of feedback: The best way patients can support their advocate is by leaving an honest review. Reviews can be submitted organically through the Solace experience, via Solace's Facebook page, or the Better Business Bureau (BBB).
