We’ve made new-patient assignments feel smoother, more predictable, and easier for you to manage.
Your toggle = your control
- When your toggle is OFF, you won’t receive any new patients.
- When your toggle is ON, you’re open to accepting new patients — up to the limit you’ve set.
If you ever feel full or need a break, you can turn your toggle OFF at any time — no questions asked.
Some reasons the system might turn you off include being away on vacation (if you’ve added it to your calendar, the system will automatically toggle you off when you’re away).
Set your own patient cap
When you turn your toggle ON, you’ll choose a Maximum New Patients number. Up to 4 patients at a time.
This controls how many new patients you can be assigned while you’re available.
Once you reach your maximum:
- You won’t receive additional new patients
- Your availability will automatically pause
You can adjust your patient maximum at any time if your capacity changes
Q: What should I do if I want more patients, but I am going out of town?
- A: We want to ensure patients who are ready to work with an advocate get quick, consistent support. Please toggle back on for new patients once you are back from your planned time away.
Q: What should I do if I’m not getting as many patients as I hoped for?
- A: Assignment speed and quantity will depend on patient need and the number of available advocates at any given time. Please keep your patient toggle on and make sure you have opened up as much calendar availability as possible. Consider enabling the ‘Same-Day Bookings’ option. Enabling this option can increase your chances of being matched with new appointments.
