When a patient/organization requests proof of legitimacy for Solace Advocacy (Advocate/ICA)

In the digital age, it's more important than ever to feel safe and secure with your information when beginning a new virtual relationship. If you've encountered a patient, loved one, or organization that is seeking confirmation of legitimacy for Solace Health Advocacy, look no further! Below are some talking points that may be helpful:

Who are you?

  • You are an independent advocate who, due to your experience and credentials, has been fully vetted and contracted by Solace Health Medical Group Inc. to operate as a medical provider within our Insurance-Covered Advocacy(ICA) program.

Who is Solace?

  • Solace Health is a BBB-accredited healthcare advocacy marketplace that connects patients and families to experts who help them understand and take charge of their personal health. We offer private-pay advocacy and, more recently, accept insurance-covered advocacy, with Medicare leading the charge.

Insurance-Covered Advocacy (ICA)?

Is the information shared through Solace secure?

And a few additional details:

  • Advocates are welcome to use the Letter of Authorization and Patient Consent forms in your patient's file as added verification of your role and access. These are signed by the same care assessment referral physician formally connected to the patient.
  • We have sent assorted, branded emails to the patient's email address on file, which also vouches for who we are and the services we offer. If the patient has already been assigned an advocate through Solace, they have already been verified and met with our physician.
  • They are welcome to email help@solace.health (or reply to any of the emails or SMS messages we've sent them) if they'd like confirmation directly from Solace Health that you are an advocate operating with the organization. We'd be happy to confirm.
