You can mark patients from your current patient list as "Inactive" to move them into an archived state. This will remove that patient from your current Patients list and dropdown menus.
Any "Inactive" patient can still send messages through our platform if they have an account. If they reach out to you and need to begin working with you again, they can be easily reactivated at any time with the click of a button!
Here are the steps to mark a patient as "Inactive" and back again:
- From your dashboard, click "Patients" from the navigation bar on the left-hand side
- Then, click "My Patients"
- Next, click the "More" dropdown menu beside the patient name that you need to inactivate, followed by "Mark Inactive," shown in red
- A pop-up will appear to confirm you'd like to mark that patient as inactive; to mark that patient inactive, click "Continue" to confirm. To cancel, click the "X" in the upper right corner of the pop-up
- If you select "Continue," you will be asked to provide a reason for marking that patient as inactive, select the most appropriate response, then click "Mark Inactive"
To reactivate an inactive patient:
- From your dashboard, click "Patients" via the navigation bar on the left-hand side
- Then, click "My Patients"
- At the top of the page, click the "Inactive" tab to view your inactive patients
- Next, click the "More" dropdown menu for the patient
- Click "Mark Active"
