Solace intake physicians meet with patients virtually* for the following reasons:
1. Insurance-billing requires a physician referral to approve advocacy (this satisfies that requirement).
2. To establish the Telehealth relationship between the patient and Solace Health.
3. It determines if there's an active emergency situation.
4. It determines if Solace can help: that the patient's needs are within the scope of our services.
5. So our physician can help match the patient with the best advocate for their unique situation.
*All physician and advocate visits occur virtually via phone or video call. Video visits are mobile phone-friendly and do not require a computer; closed-captioning is available.
