The Solace platform makes it easy to schedule one-on-one time with your advocate, view patient notes, loop in family members, and more—all from the comfort of your living room. And the care doesn’t stop there. Your advocate will work behind the scenes and be there whenever you need them, for as long as you need them.
After completing the quick initial physician intake appointment (to learn about your health journey and how we can help), you'll connect with your Solace advocate virtually via the methods outlined below.
For physician visits, only phone and video calls are available, and the patient must be present.
Our advocates can also work with your loved ones or other representatives/care providers to ensure your care team remains in the loop.
- Phone calls
- Video calls
- Text messaging (SMS)

- Phone Calls
The phone number you provided will be associated with your patient file, and your advocate will use it to contact you when you are scheduled to meet by phone.
- Video Calls
These do not require a computer, and closed captioning is available.
When scheduled for a "video" call, you will receive a link via text and email. Click the link on your mobile phone, computer, or tablet at your appointment time to join a virtual meeting room.
- Text Messaging (SMS)
Texting can be a great way to share details or attachments quickly. You'll have the option to grant your advocate permission to send Personal Health Information (PHI) via text, or to opt out so only non-PHI details are exchanged in this way.
- Direct Messaging (Solace Portal)
While claiming your Solace portal account is not required, it is encouraged. Logging in to your Solace account adds direct messaging as a communication method, and scheduling and managing future bookings is a breeze. This also provides a secure space for you and your advocate to exchange updates on care needs and progress. Last but not least, claiming your account only takes a moment!
