Can a remote advocate attend appointments with me?

Yes! While they cannot attend in person, remote advocates are skilled at supporting your health-related needs regardless of location. They'll work with you to solidify the logistics, but here's a bit on what to expect:

  • How does that work? Very much the same way you will connect with your Solace advocate: through phone and video calls.
  • Is an appointment already scheduled that you'd like your advocate to attend? Of course, calendar availability will need to be aligned for your advocate to attend. You can have them on a voice or video call for your appointment.
  • Alternatively, if it's an appointment not yet scheduled, your advocate can help you schedule it for a date and time that works for both of you.

Your advocate can interact as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. They're there to be your ally and ensure your voice and preferences are heard.
