What Counts as Billable Work?

 

For work to qualify as billable, the advocate’s activity must support the patient’s care plan, advance the patient's diagnosis or treatment, or address an unmet health-related social need (HRSN). If they are performing work directly with the patient or on the patient's behalf, and it aligns with the patient's healthcare journey and goals, it is likely billable. This includes CEIRs. In most cases, this does not include travel expenses, as we offer an exclusively virtual experience.
